Accessibility Statement

Version 1.1 · Last updated 3 June 2026

This Accessibility Statement explains how we approach accessibility on the Lawyerly website, the standard we work to, the current state of compliance, and how to report any issues you encounter.

It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

We may update this Statement from time to time, where reasonably necessary.

We want the Lawyerly website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people with visual, hearing, motor, and cognitive impairments. We aim to deliver a service that works well with assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, and keyboard-only navigation.

We work to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, Level AA as our target standard. This is the standard most widely used to assess private-sector website accessibility in the United Kingdom.

The Lawyerly website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2, Level AA. Some content does not yet meet the standard. The known limitations are listed in the next section.

We have chosen to be transparent about partial compliance rather than claim full conformance, because we believe an honest statement is more useful to users and more defensible than an aspirational one.

The following limitations are known to us and are being addressed as part of our ongoing accessibility work.

3.1

Colour contrast

Some text and interactive elements on our site use brand colours that do not meet the WCAG 2.2 AA contrast ratio of 4.5 to 1 against their background at smaller text sizes.

We are reviewing the use of these colours and will adjust their application across the site.

3.2

Documents and PDFs

Some documents available for download on our site (including older PDFs) may not be fully accessible. Where possible, we will provide accessible alternatives on request or replace them with accessible versions over time.

If you find anything on the Lawyerly website that is difficult to use or that you think does not meet accessibility standards, please tell us so we can investigate and put it right.

Email us at support@lawyerly.co. Where possible, please include the page URL, a brief description of the issue, and the browser, device, or assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 5 working days and to respond substantively within 20 working days.

This Statement is published on a voluntary basis. Lawyerly Ltd is not a public sector body and is not subject to the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

Our underlying obligations to disabled users arise under the Equality Act 2010, which requires service providers to make reasonable adjustments so that disabled users are not put at a substantial disadvantage. We take that duty seriously and use this Statement to record our progress against it.

If you are not satisfied with how we have responded to an accessibility report, you may contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS), which provides free advice and support to individuals on equality and human rights issues in England, Wales, and Scotland.

This Accessibility Statement was updated on 3 June 2026. It will next be reviewed by 3 June 2027, or sooner if a significant change to the site requires it.
